ABOUT THE FOUNDER & DESIGNER

Meet Lorna Woods

Lorna Woods relocated to Scottsdale in 1998 with her previous husband, and together they designed and built their first custom home in the exclusive McDowell Mountain Ranch area of Scottsdale. This experience sparked her interest in interior design. She visited multiple model homes to explore different design concepts and determine her personal preferences. Additionally, She expanded her knowledge by taking interior design classes at Scottsdale Community College and CAD courses at ASU and NAU'.

Lorna Woods owner & Principal designer boast more than 20 years of experience in staging and design. From 2002 to the current year. She consigned and designed jewelry for upscale jewelry stores , boutiques and salon in Scottsdale while pursuing her interior design studies. As a freelancer, she staged model homes for building companies before establishing her own staging and design firm in 2004. Her client base has grown exclusively through word-of-mouth referrals, eliminating the need for advertising and a website.

Lorna Woods is a creative individual who ran four businesses from 2002 to recent years. Originally from the Philippines, she was inspired by the strong work ethic of women like her mother. As a single mother, Lorna's passion for design was crucial to her success. In 2019, she moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina, and joined the largest management company, where she rediscovered her enthusiasm for varied work environments. Her responsibilities included staging homes, villas, and condos, project management, vendor and contractor liaison, and managing a busy schedule of calls from guests, owners, and clients. Throughout her 5-year tenure at the largest management company, Lorna staged and designed over 65 properties for short-term rental on Airbnb, with budgets spanning $500 to over $200,000.

Lorna has a passion for working on commercial and residential projects. She delights in creating one-of-a-kind projects and revitalizing spaces. To ensure a personalized outcome, Lorna listens attentively to her clients before designing and staging. The result? A functional, aesthetically pleasing, and inviting showroom.

Lorna's passion for global travel, cultural immersion, and design exploration, with a particular interest in sourcing distinctive fabrics, custom furniture and accessories from vendors across Asia, Europe, and other regions. She has a pronounced affinity with pillows, fabrics, and other home decor items.
